For the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Services (ORS), Division of Physical Security Management (DPSM), Hygeia provides Information Technology Support Services (ITSS), and full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support services for physical security technology systems at all NIH owned and leased facilities throughout the United States. To deliver these services, Hygeia’s ORS PMO utilizes the best value service provider for any given project or sustained support service under the program. This approach reflects Hygeia’s elastic services model and enables us to ramp up, scale back, and integrate the best value provider for any service on the fly.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Division recently awarded Hygeia the Justice Consolidated Office Network (JCON) contract. Hygeia will be responsible for the staffing, management, reporting and operations of the Civil JCON Help Desk, JCON IT Operations Management and Support, JCON Mobile Support, JCON Asset Management, JCON Software Development and Support, JCON IT Security Program, and JCON Training Services. The Hygeia Team will provide remote and desk-side support for end users located in Washington, DC, as well as remote assistance for users in field offices or on travel worldwide—including full service end-user support for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, client hardware, and resolution of related problems.

For the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Facilities (ORF), Division of Technical Resources (DTR), the Hygeia team oversees and provides technical engineering support for the operations, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Bethesda Campus Central Utility Plant (CUP), Cogeneration Plant, and the utilities distribution system to ensure that utilities are delivered safely, efficiently, and optimally.  To effectively manage CUP’s industrial operations, we provide IT services to operate and maintain CUP systems, including application and software maintenance, managing trouble tickets, and providing technical solutions to CUP personnel.  Hygeia also provides assistance with dashboard and data development, monitoring, integration, and hosting to streamline CUP operations and maintenance efforts.
